INTRO- Hi, I'm Ciera, designer and co-founder (thru Christ!) of clothing brand 3forpeople. This is not only fashion, but also a conduit of the Word of God who is Christ Jesus! This brand is birthed from my love of Jesus Christ and utilizing the talent/enjoyment He's given me for fashion! 3forpeople strives to give glory to God in all it's movements (business, messages and collabs, work ethic, and designs that please the Lord). One might even call it evangelism!

GOAL- To plant seeds (through love) that produce growth for the believer, to reach an unbeliever unto salvation (prayer of salvation below), and make awesome clothes in the process! When you don our clothing and/or come across our messages, my prayer/hope is that the convicting and transforming question becomes, "How do I wear my Three?", daily, because out of God's agape love for us He saved us and it was nothing we did to deserve His love (Ephesians 2:8-9) as we were sinners (Romans 3:23). Therefore, our reasonable service to Him is our body/lives (Romans 12:1), which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6: 19-20).

At 3forpeople we believe in the Triunity of God the Father, the Godhead (God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit of God)!

HOW DO YOU WEAR YOUR THREE?

Deuteronomy 11:18-19 King James Version (KJV) “Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."

WHY THIS SCRIPTURE? The simple answer, this is the one the Holy Spirit gave me as our brands key script (lol)! However, to go a bit further, when you learn about the book of Deuteronomy you'll see it was written by Moses, except possibly the last chapter. The theme of the book is “law restated.” Moses gave these sermons in Deuteronomy about 40 days prior to the Israelites crossing the Jordan into the Promised Land. Therefore, since the Israelites had spent 40 years in this uncultivated land (wilderness), all of the original people who were freed from slavery in Egypt and saw the parting of the Red Sea or heard the law given at Mount Sinai had died off. A new generation was now living who had not seen these miracles nor heard the law, hence the reason it had to be restated (like us in modern times teaching our next generation the ways of the Lord, Proverbs 22:6). Therefore, Moses stating in verse 18 to tie these words to yourself (embody them, wear them, strive to walk them out daily!) and pass them to your children (verse 19) are both key to our daily walk in Christ, back then and now! So as a believer, how do you go out daily and wear Jesus (the Word) on your heart, which shows through your actions, reactions, thoughts, and your mouth! This is not easy, so we need the power of God! Or, maybe you do not know Jesus Christ, but have heard of Him and are curious about who He is and have a desire to know more because He's calling you to receive the absolutely free gift of eternal life through the Son of God as your Lord and Savior? Well, you've come to the right place!

 CONFESS, BELIEVE, & RECEIVE JESUS today, Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV),  "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Dear Jesus, I thank you for hearing me. Right now, I am asking you to please come into my heart and save me from my sins and I am also asking you to please be my Lord and Savior and give me eternal life. I am confessing with my mouth and I believe with all of my heart that you died for my sins according to the scriptures and that you was buried and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures (1 Corinthians 15: 3-4). I am no longer a sinner, but a child of God! Heavenly Father, I thank you for adopting me into your family by Christ Jesus. Lord Jesus, I humbly ask you to wash me and cleanse me from all my sins with your precious blood and give me the promise of your Holy Spirit as a down payment (2 Corinthians 5:5) to fill me and guide me into all Truth, in Jesus Christ name I confess and pray this prayer, Amen!

MY STORY- I remember somewhere around middle school age always having a passion for fashion! I would always use notebook paper to sketch out a simple and informal croquis (sketch doll) with my clothing donned on them! However, during the course of advancing in age, I discouraged and told myself that, that type of dream was not realistic for a girl from the city of Baltimore. Therefore, I decided to focus my future on a more "tangible and realistic" career path. So one awesome kid later, a college degree (not in fashion design), several loans, and many mistakes down the road I find myself still having this desire to design! I had not sketched anything in years, however you could always catch me watching some type fashion competition show because the desire still lived in me (that was God!). Further on down the line, I'd been dreaming of this sketch design, yet had not drawn anything out nor pursued the vision in any way, shape, or form. Then, one Sunday I’m sitting in my church, (which was a place I'd just consistently returned to 1-2 years prior), and after service the preacher begins to prophesy over people. This is my first time witnessing anything like this, so I’m a little standoffish (lol)! However, the Holy Spirit keeps tugging at my heart to go to the altar! I got up and proceeded to the preacher. When he gets to me he states, “the reason why you cannot sleep at night is because you haven’t given it to God. You’ve given him the small things, but He’s saying give me the big things and let me show you what I can do with them.” Wow, blew my little mind because it was true!! Designing again, and this time pursuing it fully was huge! Therefore, that evening I'd finally sketched out that design that had been in my thoughts and dreams. From there, my journey of 3forpeople began! By the way, I am not a trained sketch artist, I cannot sew, and I have no formal training in fashion design, but what I am incapable of, God is very capable and He’s my strength and provider because I can do all things through Jesus who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13)! I’m the vessel and as long as I follow his footsteps and direction, He’ll continue to show me what’s next! Has there been ups and downs, yes! Has it been hard and discouraging at times, yes! However, as you keep moving forward and putting Jesus first, all things are possible (Mark 10:27) and he’ll keep you in perfect peace through the process (Isaiah 26:3). This is not peace in that no storms will occur, but peace that states when they come you know Who is your PEACE! So, all of our lives including 3forpeople is a continuation story until Jesus returns so let’s enjoy this journey of progression in Jesus Christ name, Amen!
